Michael Georgiadis Scholarship Fund

The Michael and Arlene Georgiadis Scholarship Fund was established to benefit students enrolled at SUNY Maritime College. In order to be eligible students must meet the following qualifications:
1. Student will be in his/her second or third year at the time of application
2. The student must be enrolled in the marine engineering program and the Coast Guard Licensing Program
3. Student will have verified financial need as determined by the College Financial Aid Office
4. The Student will be in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 at the time of application

Scholarship may be forfeited if the student:
A. Is not enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits per semester) in the semester/academic year for which the scholarship is in effect.
B. Fails to maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
C. Is found guilty of academic dishonesty, and/or violates the College’s Student Code of Conduct, and/or is found not in good standing with the Regiment of Cadets.
