Alan C. Trachtman '64 Scholarship

The Alan C. Trachtman ’64 Scholarship was created to benefit a student studying at SUNY Maritime College.

Criteria:
A. The scholarship is to be awarded to a self-identified, admitted Jewish student(s) who is also a
member of the Regiment.
B. First preference is for a student(s) enrolled full-time who intends to pursue a B.S. in one of
the following: Marine Transportation; International Transportation & Trade with Deck License; or
Marine Operations. All of these majors require enrollment in the Regiment. Second preference is for
an undergrad or graduate student(s) enrolled full-time in any major who is a member of the
Regiment.
The Scholarship is renewable for up to eight (8) semesters if the above criteria is met plus the
following:
C. Maintains academic good standing.
D. A member of the regiment in good standing.
