Payden DeRossi

The Payden DeRossi ‘17 Memorial Scholarship Fund was established from gifts from family and friends in memory of Payden to celebrate and remember Payden’s energy, enthusiasm and love of life and to directly benefit future generations of Fort Schuyler engineering students. The Fund is a need based scholarship to benefit high achieving full-time students studying engineering at SUNY Maritime College and participating in the Regiment of Cadets.

Students eligible to apply for and receive the scholarship must meet the following qualifications:

• Be a member of the Regiment of Cadets studying Engineering
• Must maintain a minimum 3.1 GPA.
• Preference will be given to a student with documented financial need
• Recipients are eligible to receive the scholarship in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the criteria

Scholarship may be forfeited if the student:

• Is not enrolled full-time in the semester/academic year for which the scholarship is in effect
• Does not maintain minimum GPA of 3.1
• Is found guilty of academic dishonesty and/or violates the College’s Student Code of Conduct and is not in good standing with the Regiment of Cadets
