Thomas 1976 and Kathleen Merrell Endowed Scholarship Fund

Thomas ’76 and Kathleen Merrell have established this merit-based scholarship to benefit a member of the Regiment of Cadets studying at SUNY Maritime College. Students eligible to apply for and receive the scholarship must meet be a U.S. Citizen, a member of the Regiment of Cadets, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and must be involved in extracurricular activities.

Scholarship is forfeited if:
Recipient is not enrolled full time (minimum of 12 credits per semester) in the semester/academic year for which the scholarship is in effect
Fails to maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
Is found guilty of academic dishonesty, and/or violates the College’s student code of conduct and is not in good Regimental Standing
