Gil-Bar Industries Summer Sea Term Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Gil-Bar Industries Summer Sea Term Endowed Scholarship was created to benefit a member of the Regiment of Cadets studying at SUNY Maritime College, that displays strong communications skills and to be used for Summer Sea Term. Students eligible to apply for and receive the scholarship must meet the following qualifications:
A. Be a US citizen
B. A member of the Regiment of Cadets
C. Must have a GPA of 2.6 or greater at the time of their application
D. Must have 1/C standing and be participating in their 90-day Summer Sea Term
E. Obtain one recommendation from a professor and one from a ships officer.
F. Preference will be given to a Cadet that is involved with sports, a leadership position or maintains employment as a student.
