Class of 1959 Memorial Fund

The Class of 1959 Memorial Fund is created to establish a need-based scholarship to benefit students studying at SUNY Maritime College. Cadets are eligible to receive the scholarship if the cadet meets the following qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or greater
• Must have financial need
• Must be a full time cadet enrolled in the U.S. Coast Guard Deck or Engine License Program

Scholarship may be forfeited if the student:

• Is not enrolled full time (minimum of 12 credits per semester) in the semester/academic year for which the scholarship is in effect.
• Fails to maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Is found guilty of academic dishonesty and/or violates the College’s Student Code of Conduct.
