Robert J. Braun '75 Endowed Scholarship for Engineering Fund

The Fund is created to establish a need based scholarship to benefit students studying at SUNY Maritime College. Students eligible to apply for and receive the scholaship must meet the following qualifications:
1. In his/her Junior or Senior year of study
2. Pursuing an engineering degree with a focus on facilities design, construction and/or operations
3. Is a member of the Regiment of Cadets and pursuing a U.S. Coast Guard Engine License
4. Maintains an overall G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
5. Consideration will be focused on student with financial need, providing the requirement of 1. through 4. above are satisfied

Scholarship may be forfeited if the student:
1. Is not enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits per semester) in the semester/academic year for which the scholarship is in effect
2. Fails to maintain a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
3. Is found guilty of academic dishonesty, violates the College’s Student Code of Conduct, and/or is not in good standing in the Regiment
