Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Breglia Scholarship

Thomas Breglia ’80, Christine Breglia & Vincent Breglia ’17 (hereinafter referred to as “Donor”) are establishing the Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Breglia Scholarship for Marine and Facilities Engineering Cadets (hereinafter referred to as the “Fund”) by creating an endowed scholarship to benefit a student studying at SUNY Maritime College.

2. Purpose
The Fund is being created to provide a scholarship(s) with the following preferences from the Donor(s):
A. An admitted Engineering student(s), in either the Marine or Facilities Engineering program, pursuing a degree on a full-time basis at the College
B. Member of the Regiment of Cadet Corps
C. Studying for the USCG 3rd Assistant Engineering License Program
D. Good standing within the Regiment of Cadets
E. Good academic standing and/or a need for financial assistance
F. Preference to participants in FIRST Robotics (High School Graduates)
G. The scholarship(s) are renewable for up to eight (8) semesters so long as the above criteria continues to be met, and the student(s) continue to remain in good academic standing.
